CIBE Advisory Board Meeting has been successfully held

On 8th November2014, CIBE Advisory Board Meeting was successfully held. Attended members included Dr. Christoph Stückelberger, founder and executive director of Globethics.net (GE), Mr. Jia Feng, Director of Center for Environmental Education and Communication, Ministry of Environmental Protection of China, Mr. Liu Debing, Chairman of the Board, China General Consulting & Investment Co., Ltd. as well as Prof. Cui Wantian, director of Rongke Technology Co., Ltd and deputy director of Research Center of China’s Private Enterprises of Renmin University.
 
 
 
Prof. Liu Baocheng, Director of the Center for International Business Ethics introduced CIBE’s progress in 2014 to the Advisory Board members. Besides the regular projects like the publication of the Journal of International Business Ethics, Student Intercollegiate CSR Essay Competition and Collegiate Social Responsibility Summer Camp have also been part of CIBE’s progress. CIBE’s main progress in 2014 were research projects on CSR in China with Norwegian Embassy, research on Philanthropy in China with Swiss Embassy, publication of Ethical Economy with CITIC Press, publication with globethics.net, Sub-forum of Value based Green Business at the Eco-Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang and Workshop on Sustainable Business Relations Between China and Africa with GE’s regional partner.
 
In the last, the experts discussed CIBE’s Plan for the year 2015 and put forward suggestions for possible collaboration projects, hoping CIBE could make greater progress in research and promotion on business ethics. The meeting ended after a heat discussion.
