On the afternoon of April, 11th, 2012, representatives from the Center of International Business Ethics (CIBE) were invited to attend the 8th New Trend Report of Sustainable Development Conference in Beijing Kempinski Hotel held by the China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD).

The event drew nearly 180 senior official leaders, executives, and experts from the government, private sectors and other related organizations. The conference primarily focused on enterprises’ green solutions for sustainable development. 

Throughout the conference, lecturers examined the latest progress of enterprises in this field by analyzing data on recently published international trends. Further, speakers discussed the impact of current domestic macro-policies and guidelines, ultimately assessing the concrete actions that advanced enterprises have taken towards sustainable development.  CIBE will keep a close track on the further developments in these initiatives, as they contribute to a more sustainable China and world.
