On June 25th 2013, Prof. Liu Baocheng, the director of CIBE represented China office of Globalethic.net to participate the 2013 Global Ethics Forum Working Session And Public Forum “Equal in an Unequal World” in Geneva, the head office of Globalethic.net for one week.
Faced with five aggravating global crises – economic, financial, environmental, political and leadership – a key challenge in the transition towards a sustainable social, economic and ecological model of development is growing inequality related to gender, wealth distribution, access to natural resources, jobs and education. Organized by Globethics.net, the Global Ethics Forum Public Forum, "Equal in an Unequal World", focused on how to address inequalities to ensure a sustainable and peaceful world for all.
During the forum, the focus is business ethic education; conference attendances discussed concrete task,current condition,result and future plan. Consistent with the theme of forum, representatives from Asia, Africa, Turkey, the Middle East and Europe shared their opinions, considering regional situation and activities.
Prof. Liu attended all the discussions and gave presentation. In the regional representative conference, Prof. Liu gave report and shared experience about the work update in china. This conference gave expectation and guidance to work around the world in the next half year.
