After hanging out with these kids from Nanpi, Country, I realized they have a purist eyes in the world today. Though these children have such hard live they are able to see life so clearly. It was amazing to see how these children touched my heart, I was so grateful to be a volunteer for them.

 

Hi kids, I really had a week full of enjoyment with you. Although I’m not so much older than you, I do realize that we live in different worlds

 

During this week, we went to visit the zoo, Forbidden City, Peking University, Great Wall, Summer Palace and the technology museum with other summer camp collegiate of social responsibility. It was also my honor to visit and stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel of New Yunnan with you all. I learned a lot from you, my lovely kids. Thank you so much! Within this short period of time, you kids gave me many surprises!

 

The first day of the week, we went to the National museum and the Capital museum. Even though you had not learned this history in class, your eyes were open for knowledge. Your attitudes were serious while listening to the explanation, you kids really moved me. Did you know, kids? It was really brave and impressive of you to continue to learn and sightsee as much as you could. Every time I asked, “Are you tired?” you always smiled and said, “No, not at all.”You would communicate with the college students and learned English as soon as you were back from scenic spots. You kids learned a lot of vocabulary for several days. Every time I saw you playing English game around table, every time I heard you singing the wonderful English songs, I felt surprise again.

 

Also that day when we went to climb the MuTianyu Great Wall, all of us volunteers felt tired but you were just so persistent to climb to top of the Wall. I really appreciate the perseverance that you showed. I learned how to be persistence from you all, No gains without pain.

 

Kids, there were so many good memories during these few days. I want you to know that I thank you all and I will remember you forever.

 

Kids, when you get back in school, I hope you will still study hard, and tell your friends about the experiences of the summer camp in Beijing. Let them know about Beijing and to help them construct a dream. I hope in this way you can give them strength and wings like yours to fly to the other side of your dreams. I believe all of you will make your dreams come true and reach the destination of your ideals. I always believed that!

 

Finally, I wanted to express my appreciation to the sponsor for giving me the chance as a volunteer to get to know these lovely kids. I learned a lot from them! At the same time, l got many friends in the summer camp of collegiate social responsibility, and the warm care from teacher Kang and aunt Jiang. Thank you so much, I will always remember these happy days! During this summer holiday, I just had a time full of happiness! Thanks, to all the people who spent this time with me!
