The Sixth ICBC CUP Economic Forum and College Student Association Exchange Meeting were held in Hubei Province.
From November 31st, 2013 to December 1st, the sixth ICBC CUP Economic Forum and College Student Association Exchange Meeting were held in Wuhan University of Technology, Hubei. College student Che Jiamei attended the meeting, on behalf of the Student Association for corporate social responsibility at the University of International Business and Economics. Student Association representatives who came from 17 elite universities across the country including the Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nankai University, Tongji University, Wuhan University, etc. attended this session.
The first afternoon, community representatives visited the Technology Venture Park of Wuhan University, the park provides free office space, office equipment and beneficial policies for students who are willing to start up a business, seeking for more job opportunities or even just broadening their own perspectives. The park showed local government’s attention and support to university students as they are fairly determined to bring brighter future for the students. After the campus tour, the representatives presented some of their best associations and had an experience exchange meeting on the topic of association management. On the following evening, we had group discussion on specific contents of National Management Association Cooperation Mechanism, including cooperation patterns and cooperate purposes, as a result of the discussion, some of the clauses has been changed or edited. On the very next day, representatives of colleges and universities signed the National College of Economics and Management Association Cooperation Agreement, and also expressed their intentions to a successful long-term cooperation. Some colleges and universities have already started planning on specific activities to establish a cooperative relationship.
The meeting has great significance on strengthening and developing exchanges and cooperation in national universities and society. All participants agreed to set the exchange program as an annual association, in order to boost a rapid development to China’s Economics and Management Student Association.
