It is really our great pleasure to come to the Switzerland Embassy, and we are really lucky to have gotten a chance to listen to a speech by a famous professor named Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kinzelbach.
And now I want to say something about what impressed me a lot today. The topic is about Sustainable Water Management: From Global to local issues.
Prof. kinzelbach told us about the definition of the “Blue” and green water at first, from which we realize that the water resource is really limited and valuable, and we have to treasure it from now on.
Besides, he also told us that because of the increasing population, in another word, because of the increasing stress on water, groundwater is becoming more important as a source for irrigation.
At the end of the discussion, he concluded 10 conclusions. Whatever, we already know that it will be a long term for us, and we have to work hard and find more ways to protect it and reuse it.
