On 16th November 2014, Prof. Liu Baocheng, Director of Center for International Business Ethics and Center for Green Entrepreneurship at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), delivered a Closing speech as the vice chairman of organizing committee of O2O Summit Forum. The contents of which were as mentioned in the following:
Firstly, I am very moved. As an educator, I was touched by your efforts during these three days of intensive learning.
Secondly, I appreciate. I really appreciate our co-organizers’ outstanding work. The success of the forum is attributed to your cooperation:Beijing Vision Green Business, Learning-Mode China, Interchina Group and Shenzhen 24so.
On behalf of UIBE, I am so proud of UIBE, for its mission is to cultivate global entrepreneurs and leaders. UIBE held such a wonderful activity that we could not only learn from each other, but also broaden our vision.
Mr. Bacon said: “Knowledge is power”. After the studies, I believed all of you are the dominant force, full of power and virtue.Through this platform, we shared experience, enhanced friendship and promoted success.
I have been commenting on the economic situation for CCTV & CRI for a long time. And last month, I was sad to see that PMI, Purchase Management Index, dropped 2.3%. It forecasts that the target of this year’s China GDP at 7.5% would be hard to achieve. However, through this forum, I literally believe all of you could lead a significant transition of thoughts and business model. And it was our honor to share with you a new business model with green enterprises and O2O, from the perspectives of academic, policy, knowledge, technology and experiences.
Although the forum is held periodically, the platform for academic exchange and experience sharing would be permanent. We are looking forward to more cooperation to promote industrial upgrading and developing model transition in China.
