THE CSR Practice of Total Group
In the morning of August 11, the campers went to the Anzhen Hospital. There, they learned some simple but practical first aid skills, and started to know Total.
Total is one of the four major petrochemical enterprises in the world. They operate in more than 110 countries all over the world. Total uses their special advantages and skills to practice CSR. They take actions on environmental protection, traffic, education and medical care. All of these get their attention.
Commissioner of CSR Department in Total, Guo Yuhan introduced Total to the campers and explained about the development of Total together with Anzhen hospital promoting China first aid. To catch our attention, there was a prize contest after the introduction. With the stimulation of nice prizes, the campers focus their attention through the whole introduction.
With a short rest, the experienced paramedics started to teach the campers first aid knowledge. Through the practice, campers learned how to perform CPR and artificial respiration safely and effectively. The lively teaching made the campers understand the knowledge exactly. We learned hard, and performed actively in the practice.
After the short and rich morning, the campers not only got practical first aid skills. What’s more important is that they have deeper understand about CSR now. And we decide to pass the idea to more people with our practice.
