Ms. Liu began her lecture debating the question, “Should an enterprise shoulder social responsibilities?” and encouraged students to think about the topic and discuss it with their companions. Later, she narrated the evolving history of social responsibility by sharing traditional and modern viewpoints and provided preliminary knowledge for participants on corporate social responsibility (CSR). She encouraged campers to imagine what CSR would be like in the near future and shared her belief that CSR will have a bright future in China. Then Ms. Liu shared some job-hunting experiences such as getting familiar with information about recruitment firms in advance and positioning oneself on a realistic way. Lastly, Ms. Liu gave a brief introduction of EMC and other IT companies. She stated that there are two important tendencies—big data and cloud computing—in the IT industry.
