On November 22^th 2012, the lecture named Life, Love and Career—Chinese people’s life in Africa from the Perspective of the Sino-Africa Folk Ambassador, one of the future leaders’ workshop series held by the Collegiate Social Responsibility Association, began with applause of students.

 

Life, love and career have become the inevitable aspects to consider for today’s college students. With so many important choices in people’s life, one may take one step closer towards success and happiness. However, as our experience usually is not adequate enough, it is no doubt that learning experience from successful people will be a short-cut to achieve the desired success. Therefore, we invited Mr. Wang Yangming, Chairman of African Investment Network, who is the Sino-Africa Folk Ambassador, to hold a lecture. We hope that students will learn how to make good choices around the various trade-offs and how to live life from his attitude coupling hardness and softness.

During his one and a half hour lecture, Mr. Wang shared his experience in Africa and explained the extraordinary work he is involved with. He introduced the prospect of Sino-Africa cooperation, and made a summarization of the constantly emerging problems and countermeasures during the cooperation. With vast territory, abundant resources and large scales of land to be developed, Africa attracts a large number of far-sighted businessmen to investment. Africa is rich in wealth and legend, and has bright prospect and many opportunities to develop. In short, it is undeniable that young people will have bright entrepreneurial prospect and will accomplish much in Africa.

 

In the end, Mr. Wang answered all the students’ questions in detail and afterwards concluded the lecture.
