On January 16th, 2013, the Second Integrity China Festival, which w as hosted by the Credit Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Management Science, the Credit Rating and Certification Center of the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, and the Credit Working Committee of China Marketing Association, launched its press conference in Beijing.
The leaders of the Integrity China Festival Committee gave a keynote speech. Many business executives attended the event. As the Center for International Business Ethics gave academic support for shooting a 8-episodes television documentary "Integrity, China in Action", the General Director, Mr. Wang Qiang gave an important speech about the topics of conception, creative planning and the support they got during the shooting.
Based on the contemporary theoretical debate and carefully selected case studies, the TV documentary series “Integrity, China in Action” aims to explore achievements and challenges in the cultural, economic and societal progress of integrity in China. Awakening consciousness and enlightenment ideas will be the main objectives the documentary wants to achieve.. The series covers a range of topical themes, from product safety, environmental protection, labor rights, financial ethics and anti-corruption, in adherence to the latest socio-economic development in the country and the world. Broadcast on mainstream media networks across China, including CCTV and a couple of provincial TV channels, the specially commissioned documentary series aims to promote greater trust, respect, and open communication across public administration, business and civil society sectors, as the documentary covers the progress concerning integrity of municipal government, industries and public concerns.
