With China's rapid economic growth, the widening wealth gap between different social groups has increasingly become an outstanding problem in the country.China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has released the country's official Gini coefficient publicly for the first time since 2001.The Gini coefficient is a key measure of income and wealth distribution in a country. It measures income distribution on a scale of zero to one, where zero means perfect equality and 1 equals perfect inequality.
