Based on the contemporary theoretical debate and carefully selected case studies, the TV documentary is a joint effort between Center of International Business Ethics at University of International Business and Economics and Credit Research Center at Beijing University executed by CCTV. The Chinese version will be broadcasted on CCTV-2 from March 9th to 14th(11:49pm) and the English version will be broadcasted on CCTV-News from March 15th to 22th (Premier on 04:30am, and replay on 13:30pm).
The TV Documentary aims to explore achievements and challenges in the cultural, economic and social advances concerning the delicate issues of trust and integrity in a rapidly transformative China. The series covers a range of topics, from product safety, environmental protection, labor rights, and financial ethics to anti-corruption in line with the socio-economic development in the country interacting with the world. It is expected to contribute to the promotion of trust, respect, and open communication across public administration, business and civil organizations by addressing issues of common concern across various social strata. The project, since its onset, has received strong support from 18 government agencies.
The TV Documentary has 8 episodes (30min. each): Call of the Era, the Art of Doing Business, the Bases of Sustainable Business, the Measurement of Fortune, and the Gateway towards Credibility, Regional Integrity, the City of Integrity and A Great Path towards Integrity.
Besides, the TV Documentary shall also be broadcasted on 14 provincial TV channels. The coverage is estimated at 500 million population with particular focus on the rising middle class in China. Ensuing events include press conference, publication of books based the manuscript, case books and 3 seminars.
