Keynote speech in Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Sino-French Diplomatic Relations: Women’s Leadership
Speech on Women’s Leadership—A Women’s World, A Better World?—was held on May 24th‘s afternoon in the 5th floor meeting hall of Keyan Building in UIBE. Director of the Center for International Business Ethics (CIBE) of UIBE, Prof. Liu Baocheng hosted it.
2014 is the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and France. French embassy has organized several keynote lectures in Beijing. We were honored to invite Muriel de Saint Sauveur, serving as Diversity Director, International Marketing and Communications Agency Director of the Mazars Group. She gave speech on Women’s leadership—women’s world, a better world?
Madam Muriel noted in her speech that women have to face a lot of problems in their life, such as the choice between career and family, contradiction between dream and social tradition. Madam Muriel hoped she could tell more women through this speech that women can have better performance by finding a balance between life and work. After the speech, Madam Muriel and Prof. Liu Baocheng answered students’ questions about women’s employment, life and career plan. Madam Muriel’s kind explanation and Prof. Liu’s humorous language won lot applause from the audience. Audience who attended this interaction won Madam Muriel’s books with her signature.
This lecture was held by four subsidies of UIBE, i.e., Department of International Relations, Sino-French School of International Management, CIBE, School of Continuing Education and School of Foreign Studies.
